The Christian Heritage Foundation

The Christian Heritage Foundation (CHF) helps Johnson County churches help people in the areas of benevolence, evangelism, and outreach in hopes of presenting “The Gospel” to all the people of Johnson County as directly as possible.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The aim of CHF is to urge the County as a whole to be more CHRIST-centered, to encourage all people of Johnson County to attend the church of their choice, and to help the business community find Jesus’ plan for success.

Finally, our Founder, Walter G. Mize, believed that the Jewish people hold a special place in God’s Word and God’s Plan, so the CHF and its branch organization Johnson County For Israel (JCFI) seek to honor Israel and help the churches of Johnson County learn more about their Hebraic roots.

Ray & Sharon Sanders

Christian Friends of Israel

As Christians we have received from God a love for Israel and the Jewish people. We want to bless them in the name of the Lord. We believe the Lord Jesus is both the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world; however, our stand alongside Israel is not conditional upon her acceptance of our belief. We exist to comfort and to support the people of Israel, and to inform Christians around the world of God’s plans for Israel. CFI teaches the Church’s responsibility toward the Jewish people, and brings awareness to the Jewish people of our solidarity with them.
Ray Sanders is co-founder of the CFI Jerusalem office with his wife Sharon. They have been establishing and developing the ministry in Israel since December 1985 when they were appointed to build a ministry from the ground up. As co-founder, Sharon is responsible for casting vision for the ministry. Sharon is an ordained Minister through Christ For the Nations Bible College, Dallas, Texas.
